United States Mint · 1850 to 1907 · 90% gold, 10% copper

The big gold coin of the Old West, and what banks kept in their vaults before 1933. It has 0.9675 oz of gold, a little under an ounce. Worn coins with common dates sell for close to their gold value. Nicer ones and rare dates cost a lot more. I check 14 sellers every 30 minutes.
